The 2019 Masters Golf Tournament starts with the Practice Rounds on Monday, April 8th and runs until Championship day on Sunday, April 14th.
The Masters is always held in Augusta, Georgia at Augusta Golf Club. It is golf's only Major Championship that doesn't rotate venues.
The easiest way to get a ticket to the Masters is to buy from a reputable company as Magnolia Manor who have been serving Masters clients for 35 years. But in 2012 Augusta National began offering a small number of tournament tickets available online. You can enter in Augusta National's lottery.

Magnolia Manor Hospitality is located just down the road from Augusta National on Washington Road. But don't worry about a walk in the early morning. Magnolia Manor has shuttles running to the course and back to the Manor from 7:00 AM till 2 hours after the course closes.
Sadly not. Augusta National does not allow cell phones on course grounds at any time. They will be checking purses and you will have to walk through a metal detector but if you have brought a phone by mistake there is a storage area just beside the entrance. (Beware pickup at the end of the day can have a long line). Magnolia Manor offers a complimentary service to keep all of your prohibited items in a safe location within the Manor.
Augusta National doesn't allow large purses, bags, or backpacks (over 10” x 10”x 12”), iPads or other tablets, coolers, strollers, flags, cameras, weapons of any kind, radios, tvs, two way devices, alcoholic beverages, coolers, and golf shoes with metal spikes.
You are allowed to bring a camera to the course during the Practice round days- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. But you are not allowed to bring any cameras on Masters Tournament days- Thursday to Sunday.
Magnolia Manor Hospitality has a full staff of valets on site to allow you a smooth and easy drop-off and pick up.
Magnolia Manor offers two different dining areas and bars. We have a rotating menu and serve breakfast, lunch, and heavy hors d'oeuvre in the evening. See a sample menu here
You will pick up your tickets at Magnolia Manor each morning. For Tournament days you will receive your tickets in exchange for a valid Driver's license or passport (Thursday to Sunday) . When you turn back in the pass, we return your license/passport.
The Par 3 Contest is held on the Wednesday before the start of the Masters Tournament. It's a 9 hole, Par 3 tournament filled with Tournament participants, noncompeting past champions, and honorary invitees.
The famous Green jacket was first given out to members of Augusta National in 1937 as a way to easily identify Club members in case any fans would need to ask any questions.
If you were lucky enough to win your practice round tickets in the annual lottery - they will arrive about 5 weeks before the start of the Tournament. If you purchased them from us, they will be waiting for you at Magnolia Manor just like the daily tournament tickets.
Membership at Augusta National is via invitation only.
Yes, along with the famous Green Jacket the winner of the Masters receives a replica of the Augusta National Golf Club clubhouse.
Amen Corner is the name given to holes 11, 12 and 13. It was originally given the name by Sports writer Herbert Wind in 1958 due to the extraordinary way Arnold Palmer played those holes on the final day of the Tournament. He ended up winning that tournament, his first major, with a ruling that was still being challenged decades later.
Autographs are never allowed on the golf course during practice or tournament days. Autograph seekers can however wait at the practice range and on the Par 3 course during the Tournament.
Any way the Augusta National committee decides. The one traditional pair is between the reigning US Amateur and the reigning Masters Champion in days 1 and 2. The final two rounds of pairing are determined via player score.

The Champions Dinner was started by Ben Hogan in 1952 when Ben arranged for a dinner for all the previous Masters Champions. The dinner was officially created the following year when the Masters committee formalized it.
Ian Jack suggests the grandstand behind the 12th tee. You have to get there early! But when play rolls through it's the best seat on all of Augusta National. You get to see the approach and putting on 11, all of the 12th, and the tee shot coming back on 13. There's also a handy concession stand right behind the bleachers. Bathrooms are also nearby.
Yes- head over to the 10th hole tee box. The 10th drops down through the fairway so you get unobstructed sight lines to the green.
We suggest that you meet underneath the large scoreboard when you first hit the course. If you try to meet at the concessions or pro shop before that, the huge number of guests can make it hard to find each other. Especially without cell phones! Another possible meet up location is by the oak tree behind Augusta National clubhouse. You'll get a chance to view players, caddies, TV presenters and more as they meet and interact with each other and the fans.
Well that depends on what you personally are looking for during Masters week. Lots of people love the hustle and bustle of Augusta while others prefer to travel about an hour away to Columbia, SC for a quieter, less busy stay. We at Magnolia Manor would be happy to show you all of our packages from Reynolds Plantation, to Augusta, to Columbia.

Yes- Augusta National has several ATMs located on its premises. When you first enter Augusta National through the main walking gate an ATM will be across the walkway from the gift shop.
Of course you can. We offer a variety of golf courses no matter where you choose to stay. Check out our Watch & Play Packages. And don't forget to bring your clubs!
In early April, Augusta temperatures range from highs around 80 and lows near 50. We recommend a mix of cold gear for night, and warm gear for the course. Always bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
